Why does it ask me to identify my work unit?
The purpose of the staff survey is to gain a
snapshot of how things are in your workplace.
Therefore the survey will ask you where you work.
The survey will provide a drop-down menu for you to select your workplace .
Where a workplace is
five (5) people or less the results can be combined with another work unit to maintain your confidentiality and anonymity .
APD will provide your workplace with updates of response rates
by division and work team through out the survey period.

Is
the survey confidential and anonymous?
YES!
At no stage
will you be asked to give your name.
In the
staff survey, you'll be asked to nominate your workplace and the type of work you're involved in.
You will also be asked about other demographic (or background) information such as your age, gender and years of service etc.
This statistical information will allow the administrators to report comparisons such as of:
*
Job Satisfaction
of administrative staff and engineers,
*
Intention to Quit
for people who've worked here for more than 5 years
* males and females on attitudes to Work/Life Balance
* Morale
in one workplace versus another
* and so on.
Your
ANONYMITY & CONFIDENTIALITY is
extremely important to us!
Access to the data is restricted to the external consultants at AP Diagnostics.
Your department will NOT have access to your demographics information.
